  2. Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery.
  3. I was just working on an album with all of them. http://imgur.com/a/xq8aS I personally think Trag'Oul's and Inarius sets will be the more interesting ones. So start brainstorming builds people. Let me know any build or skill mechanics you want me to test.

  5. Even if you have missed previous seasons, you can still earn stash tabs, up to a total of 4 rewarded from seasons.
  6. I tested APS modifiers back at the beginning of August. First test was Magic Missile against Ghom and observed and increase in every single hit while spamming at max APS, but with no Shame of Delsere. Second test included Shame, and I consistsntly observed it only increasing with every other hit. 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, etc. As for Frozen Mist, I did that one about a dozen times since it seemed weird. It is hard to say with 100% certainty since I was unable to do a frame-by-frame analysis to confirm, but each time I did it, there were three ranges of damage numbers that would increase by an amount that i would expect out of Stricken. Example: 2000, 4000, 6000, 2010, 2020, 6010, 4010, 4020, 4030, etc. Rough and innacurate, but should demonstrate what I'm talking about.
  7. I'm being lazy right now, but here are my scratch notes from tests tonight: Off sheet APS modifiers DO increase Stricken stacking rate Disintegrate continually increases within the same channel Blizzard is only one stack per cast Frozen Mist seems to stack continually Frozen Storm only increases with every other stack (1s) (error; no more increases) -Can get an constantly increasing number of stricken stacks from Frozen Storm, even if target leaves range and reenters. Zoning on the other hand prevents frozen Storm from reactivating an accumulation of Stricken stacks on that montster, or any other monster that wasn't even hit previously. New zone doesn't change anything. There clearly has been a change in how off sheet APS modifiers interact with Stricken. I'm interested in seeing what can be done with DMO for boss killing now, but I still don't see it surpassing a Gen Monk personally.
  8. I never tested the AoE effects on Stricken since that's how I assumed they would work, but I also only ever tested for Wiz and DH skills. More testing could be done on that regard based on AoE skills at target area, like Blizzard. Is it closest to you or closest to center, or random, that takes first hit that way. I'm going to attempt to test APS modifiers again tonight on both Live and PTR. Last time I tested, they were actually a detriment to stacking Stricken, which aligned with the reported .9*sheetAPS. I'll look at primary skills for Wiz and DH with respective belts, and weapons like Fragment and Yang's (assuming I can come up with a weak enough bow). I'll also see if I can determine whether multiple APS modifiers could artificially inflate test results, but mental math implies that shouldn't be the case.
  9. The only good things about the anniversary event, in my opinion, are nostalgia, and a few cosmetic goodies. You're going to play the event the same as any other dungeon, except that some monster types hit extremely hard. On T13, there were several times I was instantly one shot on my DH. Though I would also kill them almost instantly as well. There are some blue items that drop that are throwbacks to D1 items, but they are completely useless, nor do they offer transmogs (The item models are directly taken from existing items when worn.) Though there is one little goody that is kind of fun to find if it isn't spoiled for you.
  10. Well we've never really had any truly great builds. CM/WW and SNS were a complete accident, as evidenced by the repeated nerfs. Archon has either been very simple, or a complicated exploitation of unintended interactions. We had the Tal Rasha with Mammoth Hydra, but that was also just using breakpoints. Twisted Sword was a very bland playstyle, even if I did have fun with it. Flashfire is just ability spam relying on In-Geom. We do have some channeling items, but they are still vastly under-tuned, and only Etched Sigil offers anything 'interesting.' There was the Mammoth Hydra + Illusionist + Gale Force interaction, but that was also unintended and never made it to live. AOrbit is a fun build now, but again, far from what we can do with anything + Archon. ... See where I'm going with this?
  11. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20324407 Q: What will we get as part of the Rise of the Necromancer pack? A: In addition to unlocking the Necromancer as a playable character, players will also receive an in-game pet, two additional character slots, two additional stash tabs (on PC), a portrait frame, pennant, banner, and banner sigil.
  12. If they did give us a Necromancer that took from the D2 skill trees, it would probably take inspirations from the Bone and Curses skill trees. Much more interesting than summoning some skeletons in my opinion.
  13. You can find a necromancer in Act 2.
  14. The Vyrs set dungeon is not that hard. AW and decent CDR is all you really need. Just be thorough with killing everything. It does fast, but if you miss something, you're likely to have to start over since it is the jail map taken straight from the campaign of I remember correctly.
